Schneider Electric/APC NMC Software?
We've got 20-30 UPS's with NMC cards in them. Currently we use Zabbix to monitor them for power/battery issues, but I'd like to find something that would also let me do firmware updates, management configs. I've been poking around on APC's site but can't seem to find anything that does this for multiple devices on the network. They just keep pointing me towards their network shutdown software for some reason. Our "rep" said he wasn't sure they made software that was capable of doing anything like this, which I found kinda hard to believe. Anyone know if APC makes anything or a third party?
Assuming that those UPSs are APC, then use we have multiple software that can do what you are asking, either EcoStruxure IT Expert (cloud with local gateway) or EcoStruxure IT Data Center Expert (local appliance). The software isn't limited to only APC devices, but APC devices will have additional functionality within the software (firmware upgrade, mass configuration, outlet control, rack access control, etc).
You can also reach out to sales by choosing that option on https://se.com/dcim to discuss your monitoring options with sales to determine if these options will suit your needs. They can also provide you with a demo to showcase all of the features and the differences between the two offers.
Both available services/software are available as a trial, but may have some features limited. Let us know if you have any specific questions after reviewing the details.
