That is correct, we do not export in an XLS format. Exports are formatted in a comma delimited file which Microsoft Excel is capable of opening and formatting. Simply open the file in Excel. If it does not automatically format itself (mine does in CSV format), you should get a text import wizard popup in Excel. Simply choose delimited, hit next, then choose the delimiter which in this case is a comma. You can do some formatting if you would like during the import but then hit finish and it be properly aligned in rows and columns.
