Hi,
we are trying to "auto" associate rack PDUs from DCE 7.9 to ITA 9.3 to see power sensors in ITA. But we cannot auto associate because the name of the PDU is not the same in DCE and in ITA. Automatically in DCE we have in the field Label the name of the PDU and the IP address, although we have only configured the name in the web portal of the rack PDU that are model AP8953.
It is a very big deploy with 600 rack PDUs so it would be great if we could associate them directly with the auto association if DCE only had the Name of the PDU in the field Label without including the IP address.
Is it possible to have only the name of the PDU in the field Label in DCE?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Javier
Is the device name field from the unassociated the only potential matching attribute in ITA or are you keeping other asset properties in ITA like IP address?
Regards
Greg Sterling

Hi Greg,
we only have the name in these rack PDUs, when we did the model in ITA we did not know the IP address of each rPDU. We are now doing the association manually, but it would be great if in DCE the name would not include the IP address automatically by default.
Thanks for your support.
