PuE Calculation

I have the PuE calculation in DCO working but this is an average over the past 24 hours.

Is there a way to calculate the PuE and log it over a period of time?

I can create a custom report in DCE with the total facility kW and IT equipment kW and export the data but this is a manual task.

Can you create a Virtual sensor with an embedded calculation that could then be displayed in the reports window?

Hi Andrew,

The so-called simple PUE, as you've mentioned, is an average and summary for the previous 24 hrs. There is not supported way to define a calculation period.

The PUE dashboard from Energy Efficiency setup (Using the Energy Efficiency Dashboard) contains a "Dial Settings" option, so the average PUE can be displayed over last xx minutes/hrs/days/weeks/month/years.

I had a quick look in DCE, for the time being I couldn't see any obvious way to create embedded calculations between virtual sensors.
