Dear Community, is it possible to recover the passcode of a 25 nodes licence installed back in 2012?.
We want to make a server factory reset, and of course reinstall this licence, but we haven't got the passcode that comes with the licence, is it possible to recover it?

If you are re-installing StruxureWare Data Center Expert on the same server, you can use the same license keys as they are associated with that MAC address. There would be no need to recover the passcode as you could just copy the license keys out of the interface before performing a factory restore.
You can also pull down license key information from http://dcimassets.schneider-electric.com

In most cases it is possible to recover passcode by serial number or MAC address of DCE server.
You should contact to your local techsupport team for assistance.

Hi Cory, thanks a lot for you answer. This is one of our biggest problem: “You will need to log into the account using the email/password combination that was used when the license keys were registered on the NetBotz registration website back in 2012†The person who did this doesn’t work anymore since that date. Now my Customer, doesn’t know anything about that previous registration.

Claudio, Local technical support should be able to have an additional user added into the DCIMassets account. You will need to contact them with the MAC address of the server and the required email address that needs to be added. Regards, Cory

Hi again Cory, in your first answer you said that I can use the licence key as it was associated with the MAC address of the server. That mean, I can use it like it appears on the software?. 17B1FD661......ETC, ETC........So I can copy and paste later this key??? After making the reinstallation of the software.... Claudio, Yes, those are the license keys that you can add back into the server after it is restored. The license keys should be 64 characters long. Regards, Cory
