Hi Team!
I'm wondering if there's been any experience with integration of 3d party outdoor cameras (IP66 or higher protection) into NetBotz750 with DCE environment?
I'm aware that only ONVIF S without motion detection is currently supported. Nevertheless our customer still shows interest in such solution and seeks our advice with camera vendors/ models which could be tied into DCE along with our standard NBPD0165

Hi @sesa246921 ,
I have only seen one or two 3rd party cameras used (I actually added a Pelco that uses ONVIF) and they look good. That being said and as you've already noted, there is no motion detection for those 3rd party cameras. If the NetBotz 750 alerts for something like a door switch and is configured to trigger a camera, it will send images to DCE.
Sorry but we do not have any compatibility lists. There are no specific cameras that we officially recommend.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve
Thanks for your reply!
I actually had the same idea to use netbotz alerting capabilities to trigger a 3d party camera. otherwise constant video stream jams DCE storage pretty fast.
I hope to get shortly netbotz 750 device for testing from our local demo pool... And if you still remember - could you share name/SKU of Pelco camera that you were able to add?

Hi @sesa246921 ,
Sorry, I don't have the model. This was a colleague's camera and it was about a year ago. I did no in-depth testing, I only checked to see if I could add it. All I can say is that it was one of the units we had listed as compatible with the version 3 NetBotz appliances.
