Hello I have a problem with a Netboz 750, basically after updating the firmware to version 5.3.5.434 I lost the status of the sensors and the ability to interact with them.
Before the update I had on the "overview" page the status of the Leak Rope and temperature sensors in real time, but after the update nothing more.
I also lost the ability to turn the supplementary power on and/or off. How can I solve this? I also tried to perform factory reset from console but the problem remains.
I need help, thanks
Sebastiano

I would unplug the sensors, delete them from the console. Reboot the unit and wait for it to come up. Than Connect a single sensor and see if it’s auto detected.
Failing that I would roll back to the previous firmware release. If that ends up being the solution I would encourage you to submit a support request with APC.
Let me know what happens and the final outcome. 👍

Hi Teken, thank you for your reply
I have already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the sensors, but only the door sensors are detected. Instead when I connect the leak rope and temperature sensors they are not seen at all. I have also lost count of the supplementary power supply relay.
I have searched for the old firmware to rollback but in the available downloads I find only this latest one. Do you know where I could download it? At this point I think it is the only solution available.
Thank you
Sebastiano

Hi Sebastiano,
You’ll need to contact APC Technical Support to obtain the previous firmware for the NetBotz 750. Please do let me know how everything turns out.
Im pretty surprised your posts are being blocked on the APC Forums. Please also have support look into that too! 👍
NOTE: I tried to send you a private message but the system indicates you don’t have it turned on. Hope you see this reply and follow up with APC Technical Support. 👍

Dear Tekn
By contacting Schneider support directly the problem has been solved.
I attach the solution that can aituate those who have the same problem as me
Make sure no sensors, pods, or cameras are connected to the appliance.
Serially connect to the NetBotz appliance.
Log in using root credentials.
When prompted to (M) modify or (C) continue, type a capital 'X' (shift-x).
This will bring you to a Linux prompt. At this point, type the following:
root@netnetbotz860d114f:~# cd /usr/local/bin/
root@netbotz860d114f:/usr/local/bin# ./setmfg.sh
When finished, it is advisable to reset the appliance to defaults
Thank you for being interested
Sebastiano

Great to hear and thank you for sharing the solution to this specific problem. As an aside did support explain why the firmware update caused the sensors and other aspects of the unit to stop working?!? 🤔
Lastly, did they offer you the previous firmware release?
