Netbotz 750: Connecting downstream devices remotely through customer's network
Netbotz 750: Could you share with me the procedure to connect downstream devices remotely through customer´s network?
According to the installation manual it could be possible, that´s the case the customer doesn´t want to downstream through private LAN port and they want to do it remotely as we did in the past with the old Netbotz 450.
Although NBPD0165 NetBotz cameras can be added both from the public and private networks, currently any addition of SNMP devices must be made to the private LAN. If you go to the devices tab, you'll see there is only an option to "Add Camera". Any SNMP devices are auto-detected on the Private LAN. The SNMP devices are detected using the credentials under Settings-->System-->Device credentials.
The next revision, 5.3, is due out soon. I am told that it is not yet fully tested but the "Add Camera" button will be changed to "Add Device".
