I am testing the wireless sensor that came with the Netbotz 250. I have the sensor in the same small room that the Netbotz is rack mounted. It's only a few feet away from the coordinator. the signal strength is 79-80%. I get notifications at least once a day that wireless communication is restored. I don't see anything in the logs saying the communication is lost. This is a brand new appliance. The coordinator firmware is 1.2.0. Can anyone help me with this? We have another unit in a different site and it is not doing this.

Hi @pdsysadmin,
Here's a link to the manual for the Coordinator. See the recommendations in the Positioning wireless devices section.

Some troubleshooting might be required. I suggest that you contact support to get the fastest resolution.

Thank you for the document on positioning the wireless. I added the extender and it did improve the signal a bunch. I wanted to test the distance so I put the wireless device outside the room. It's about 15 feet from the coordinator and there is a hollow wood door between them. I started getting the alerts about the communication being restored again. The strange thing is that the signal hasn't gotten below 87%. Why would it disconnected if the signal strength was good?

Hello @pdsysadmin,
From your image it appears that the appliance may be losing communication to the sensors for a period of time as the usual event log entry is done every 5 minutes and you can see that some of those times are larger. Unless you were testing during this time with reboots, or something else, this would indicate the lost communication is actually occurring.
I would recommend that you reach out to technical support with the following information (since log files need to be reviewed we recommend contacting technical support for security reasons):
- NetBotz Serial Number
- What is connected to the NetBotz appliance and to what ports (including wireless sensors counts and repeaters)
- Log files that can be downloaded under the About > Support menu options.
Kind Regards,
Cory

Thank you for response. The attached logs are data logs that are configured to gather data every 7 minutes. this is not the event log. I was just showing that the signal strength wasn't dropping below 80%. Why would I get events saying it reconnected when the signal strength looks good?
