NetBotz Rack Monitor 570 - Sensors losing naming
Hi All,
I have a NetBotz Rack Monitor 570 that has external 2x Sensor Pods 150, 4x Sensor Pods 155, 4x Camera Pods 160 and 1x 48 Brick Dry Contact Card.
Some of the Wired Temperature sensors that are connected to the 2x Sensor Pods 150 randomly lose their naming and Thresholds and I constantly have to Re-name the sensors and configure the Thresholds.
I have manually rebooted the NetBotz several times but the issue persists at irregular intervals. The NetBotz Firmware is v4.6.4
Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to resolve it?
I have supported NetBotz for many years and have not seen the issue that you are referencing. Even if the sensor pods lost power and come back (as long as everything stayed connected the same), they should still retain the same identifiers and values assigned to the sensors.
One recommendation I can make is to ensure that there is only ONE NetBotz appliance connected to the A-Link chain to ensure that there aren't competing NetBotz Appliances (could cause other issues as well, so DO NOT connect 2 NetBotz main appliances in this way).
