NetBotz 750 Alarm Escalations

Hi All,

Please advise, how do we achieve time based alert escalations on the NetBotz v3 like we could set on the NetBotz v2?

I know we can differentiate Alarm Recipients based on the Alarm Severity, how about if we want to set different escalations based on how long the Alarm has existed and also how do we set the number of times the Alert should repeat before returning to normal?

Hello @Tafadzwa,

I'm assuming that you are referencing the NetBotz 750 series in this post.  Please let me know if you are referencing some other NetBotz appliances.

The NetBotz 750 series can not do time-based notification delays or repeats.  I have added you to a request for this feature and notified product management.

As an alternative, if EcoStruxure IT Data Center Expert is being used to monitor the equipment, the delays and notifications could be done from the DCE side.

Yes, I was referring to the NetBotz 750 series and thank you for adding me to the Feature Request.

Side note: I read a post about bringing back SMS functionality via GSM on the NetBotz 750 Series, is this still in the pipeline?

SMS Notifications are still a big request in Africa.
