Dear team,
I've a customer who is monitoing traps from DCE with Nagios XI using the powernet410.mib and has received this message from Nagios:

Hi Enric,
you don't need another OID or MIB. The information contained in a trap from DCE is outlined in the following base:
Some of the data appears to be in code instead of text so it may be something to do with how the trap receiver is formatting the data. I'd suggest either checking what your getting with another trap receiver or maybe even just a packet capture. You can try updating the MIB but I do not believe that is the reason for what appears to be a formatting issue.

Hi Eric,
Sorry but I can not help with Nagios. I am not familiar with that product and if they do need Nagios specific help, they may want to contact the vendor.
To make sure it is an issue with the system and how it is formatting the data, I suggest causing another (different type) trap from DCE and seeing if Nagios has issues with that one too. Potentially doing a packet capture during the traps that do not appear to be formatted properly would be helpful as well.
