Hello everybody!
I would to ask the community about how the new functionality of fanout cables works, as indicated in the releases notes 9.1.9.
I have tried to figure out how this functionality works, but i have found it impossible to understand it. I have only observed this functionality in the connection setting screen of a connection already made, but this function is clearly disabled.
Maybe these fanout cables have to be generated by editing the route manually from the network management screen? In that case, is it working properly right now (9.2.2)? I have thought that this new functionality could be applied with the new symbol introduced for the creation routes (#) but it is impossible to understand the 'syntaxis' of this new symbol (connection number)
Thank you very much!

Hello Joaquin
You are on the right track. Like other network cables you must first create a genome for the fanout cables. There are samples in the master genome library already.
In my below example, you can now set the connection endpoints (start and end), then you must check the "fanout cable" check box and define the the cable outlet count, so a 4 like below is a 1 to 4 fanout cable.
Now, when you make a network connection via the visual network connection tool, you select the fanout cable from the "cable genome" drop down list, then the table in the lower section will allow you to choose the multiple endpoints.
Hope this helps.
Regards
