Launch to Device fails

I am setting up a new StruxureWare appliance and cannot seem to get the Launch to Device to work from any client, always getting a 404 error.  

Client is set up to use the internal browser by default in the Client Preferences > Browser settings.   If I try to open externally it tries and also fails using URL of https://[DCE IP]/privateproxy/null/   

Anyone have any suggestions?

Dear Alan,

Are the devices on Public LAN or Private LAN of DCE server?  If devices are on the private LAN of DCE and if the devices firmware version is > 6XX, then I would suggest you to make sure that the DCE version is 7.3.1 and try to launch the web interface. 

If there is proxy server usage on the browser settings, please make sure that the Proxy Server details are setup correctly in DCE server.  If possible, try disabling the proxy in the browser and see if you are able to launch the device web interface. 

I also recommend you to refer the below K-base document for the devices which are on the private LAN of DCE: http://www.schneider-electric.co.in/en/faqs/FA239969/

Another way of checking whether you are able to launch the device web interface which are on the Private LAN of DCE-DHCP, you can  have your laptop on the same side of DCE and check if you are able to launch the web interface successfully.

Hello Bala

I am only using the Private LAN on DCE and on version 7.2.7,  I do not see anywhere to download 7.3.1 ?

I do not have a proxy on the network or browser settings

I am able to open the web interfaces for the devices from a regular web browser directly, but not from DCE.

I request you to contact your country technical support to receive the DCE version 7.3.1 download link Your DCE software need to be under software support to receive the software download link. I also request you to try changing the device launch settings to HTTP and see if you are able to open the web interface within DCE. Its a good idea to upgrade to DCE 7.3.1. I am hoping this issue is fixed in 7.3 1.
