Have a couple problems with our DCE instance. First: my LDAP user account has "StruxureWare Data Center Expert Administrator" checked under User Roles but the account does not have admin rights: in the System menu, the only option I get with that account is "Ion Enterprise Settings...". I have to log in with the local account to have full admin rights which is not expected behavior. That LDAP account did have admin rights in the past.
Also, unrelated: even when I do log in with the local admin account, I am not able to delete a couple Virtual Devices that I have in the system: the delete icon is grayed out.

Dear Martin Gaciarz,
I suspect, that you mean the user role of the "StruxureWare Data Center Expert Administrator" inherited from the local DCE group "Server Administrators". If this is true, then according to Steven Marchetti answer in topic :
When you add a remote user or group, you can not move them to other DCE groups. Only local users can be added to local groups. If you import an AD group, you must assign that group rights to different folders with things like Admin, sensor, or view only access. All users in that AD group will then have the same rights.
Concerning the remove of virtual sensors: if this problem still exists even under the local DCE administrator rights, then do check whether these virtual sensors have inside sensors from the real devices? Probably the real devices are already removed and the real sensors, that were in the virtual sensors have been removed? This must be checked. Then try to just add a suitable real sensor to the problem virtual sensor, and then try to remove this virtual sensor.
I hope this helps you.
With respect.
