I've created a non-admin user, added them to the user group "device viewers," and have given them non-inherited view access to a single device group.
When I log into that account ( whether via the Web interface or the DCE app) I can access all of the devices in my entire DCE installation...
Any guidance on restricting the view permissions would be appreciated.

It appears that users added to the "Device Viewer" group have access to all devices regardless of user rights and device group access.
I solved my issue by creating another user group, adding the user to it, and giving them access to the specific device group.

Hi John,
when configuring devices and users in the thick client, organize the devices in groups that you want users to be able to access. You can then set up the user rights to allow only access to those groups and their devices and the web client should follow suit.
Thanks,
Steve.
