Integration between two DCE Systems

Hello,

I am interested to know if there is possibility to gather data from one DCE system to another DCE system via SNMP. 

There is 1 DCE system in site A and another DCE system in site B. I need all the information from both sites to view in site A from DCE. 1. Is this possible? 2. Via SNMP? 3. And how?

What I have tested up to know is to monitor data of VM in site B (like link status, CPU etc. of the VM) from DCE in site A.

Hello @aneta.deliu,

Data Center Expert does not have any data import mechanisms to import device/sensor data to "combine" DCE servers into a single pane of glass.  You are correct that if you discover a DCE appliance in another DCE or monitoring tool that you will only get data on the server, not the device discovered on that server.

Depending on your licensing and site size, you may be able to monitor all devices from a single DCE server instead of having 2 DCE appliances doing the monitoring.  This is not always a viable solution depending on your security requirements and existing solutions.
