Hi Team,
I could not find much on this topic in the forums and user guides.
All I found is this short note here:
https://dcimsupport.apc.com/display/public/UAOp74/Installing+StruxureWare+Data+Center+Operation#Inst...
Anyone have an experience on this topic?
Customer have just asked me about a guide on how to do it.

Hi Lukasz,
It is actually very easy, start the linux workstation (in graphical interface), via your web browser go to the DCO download page, then download and install the Operation client that matches your linux (ex. Linux 64-bit or Linux 32-bit).
The following page contains information about the supported/tested "DCO linux clients":
StruxureWare Data Center Operation Compatibility with Linux-based Operating Systems
Kind regards
--
updating this with some screen capture:
Here is an example from my Debian workstation (64 bit):
I have downloaded DCO client (linux 64 bit) to my home directory, and then will extract it to the same location (right click > Extract here):
And then I will go to the extracted folder "StruxureWare Data Center Operation-7.5.0", double-click on the "StruxureWare Data Center Operation" file, and then "Execute":
That's it - finally the login window will be displayed:
Hope this helps.

The file is a tar.gz archive. So after downloading you just run: 'tar xvf

All Linux distributions should have built-in support for extracting .tar.gz files in the graphical user interface. You should be able to "double click" (or use whatever way of activating you prefer) the file and then the system should ask you where to extract the files.
