IT Advisor API Page Inaccessible due to Basic Authentication Blocked
Do you have thorough documentation API like usage, authentication and implementation? It's blocked and we can't access it.

Hi,

To be able to access the REST API (or ITA client) user may need to be authenticated.

Your user will be blocked in case if the user tried to log in too many times with a wrong password.

Blocked user (due to mistyped password attempts):  user can try to log in with correct password after at least 10 min.

I believe this issue should be resolved after I sent you and your team the ITA API json file and recommended loading it in an external swagger viewer like https://editor.swagger.io/  

A feature request has been logged regarding the request of using a more modern authentication method for the API page and will most likely be part of ITA's API improvements scheduled for later this year / early next year.

There is also an open feature request for x509 certificate based API authentication and have added your organization to it. 

Based on our previous conversation, it would seem that using an ETL export DB would be better option for your custom reporting purposes based on authentication requirements.
