IRC Comms lost

I am getting random comms lost errors from a number of IRC cooling units.

It would appear to be random timing, after a few seconds the alarm clears itself and it is all sorted, just seeing if there is an good FAQ / advise on problem solving where the issues might be.

the DCE is polling about 600-700 ip addresses.

Assuming these are being monitored via SNMP, you can look at k-base:

Look for k-base FA226273. This doc describes troubleshooting SNMP.
