Dear,
On DCO, when I try to implement blade bx922, bx924s2 or any type of generic blade ( full or half ) in bladechassis BX900S2, there is no way to do it ( clearly refused to integrate blade in the tool.)
So I try to use Generic bladeframe, but there is only Generic with 8 bays per row, is there a possibility to have 9 bays per row?
Thanks for help
I am using DCO 8.0.2

Hi Francois
I have this video tutorial:
How to model custom equipment with StruxureWare Data Centre Operation
where I explain how to model equipment and in particular the blade chassis and blades.
You issue is probably in failing to specify equipment family or mismatch between the blade and frame.

Hi Francois,
You might be right, It seems the blades such as PRIMERGY bx922 s2 and bx924 S2 cannot be added to the blade enclosure PRIMERGY BX900 S2
this might be a "Genome" bug and needs to be reviewed - I have registered an investigation case for it.
Here is how to customize a generic enclosure with 9 bays:
add "Generic Blade Enclosure" to your Genomes (from Genome Library),
in Genomes, right click on the added equipment/Generic Blade Enclosure -> Properties -> "Physical"
and then define the Physical properties of the device, such as "Amount of bays":
now you can add this equipment into a rack.
Kind regards
