I have a network management interface card on a PDF which i want to integrate into struxureware. I have assigned an IP to it, from the PDF display , i can ping the IP address, but i cannot access it via any browser. I have tried all available web browsers but to no avail, This will not enable me integrate into struxureware for energy monitoring and billing. I need help in resolving this.
Thanks

Maybe the TLS certificate has expired. You can check it in the web browser. If it has expired you have to enable the access by HTTP and then delete the TLS certificate to create a new one, in the Web menu.

Thanks a lot. I spoke to my IT team and they want to know all the TLS versions supported by the product-APC PDPM277H modular power device, so that it can be enabled on my network. Thanks.

Hello Jzurera,
I am a colleague to @kenny_dabiri and these are the steps we have tried to resolve the issue:
- We connected the network management interface for the device directly to a laptop(i.e without a router or intermediate network device).
- We assigned an IP to the PDF via the display module.
- We changed the network interface of the laptop to enable the PDF be in the same subnet as the laptop.
- We pinged the IP assigned to the PDF from the laptop and it was reachable.
- We try to access the PDF over the browser on the laptop (http://PDF_ASSIGNED_IP) but it was unreachable.
Kindly advise on further steps to be carried out.

Hi,
I found this issue in a rack pdu, and it was because of the TLS certificate that was installed inside the PDU, it was expired, so any web browser didn't allow to access to the web page. In the rack pdu it is possible to activate by console the HTTP protocol that is disabled by default. After that I could access to the PDU web page and delete the expired certificate. After deleting the expired certificate, it creates a new one for a year, and then you can access by HTTPs.

Hi,
Not knowing the exact model of the card, you are using…
I have seen this before when both HTTP & HTTPS have been disables for some reason.
Its worth a serial console into the card. When you hit the landing page, check its stat (top right) for instance P+ N4+ N6+ A+ and the status of HTTP/HTTPS enabled or disabled.
If you need to change the status, type in “web” <enter>
This will display the status of “web” and the associated commands to edit.
For instance, to enable HTTP, type in “web -h enable” <enter>
Kindest Regards, Rich...
