How to report on all physical blade hosts and associated vm hosts

This question was originally posted on DCIM Support by Marilyn Meuninck on 2018-03-14

Hi, I asked the other day how to run a report that shows all physical blade hosts and all the vm hosts on each but had duplicate questions and removed an answer from Steve Marchetti.  If Steve or someone has the answer, please let me know.

thanks

Hi Marilyn,

I'm reusing the answer from similar post ():

As an inspiration you might want to see the following nice tip: DCO: How to find all servers using equipment browser

basically based on using the Equipment Browser and exporting the data/results to a .csv file.

Kind regards

The list is not including the vm hosts on the physical vmblades.  We are linked to vcenter and I can see the list in virtual mcahines and templates discovery, but they do not populate the equipement table.   I don't know how to make that happen.

Thanks
