Previously I used without any issue the excel import in DCO which is pretty useful. Now I would like to use it to import an inventory (list of devices) into a simple storage room (not a server room type).
I exactly know that how should format the excel data structure based on the available template and Model Name should match with the name of Genome. My problem is that I receive the following errors at import:
• Could not find blade enclosure
• No rack information specified
The first error is because I wanted to import a server blade not into an enclosure. But in a storage room I cannot install/mount a blade server into an enclosure, can I?
The second error is more strange. In a storage room type we have no any rack!

Hi Mate,
Currently the equipment importer requires assets to be imported to a rack. As a work around equipment/assets could be imported to a temporary rack and then manually move the assets to the storage room.
Kind regards

Hi Mate,
Adding to Jef's response.
You can actually create a temporary rack in Storage Room with hundreds of U positions and this way you can import hundreds of devices in one go.
Subsequently moving devices from the Rack to Storage Room can be done via multi-select and dragging them using Navigation View
