How to export custom property to main General properties?
I have custom property called " Asset Serial ".
How to import all that data to general tab called "Serial Number"
I have done data entry for more than 1000's of assets and need same in general field tab too.

Hi Sandeep,
We do not have an option to consolidate Custom Properties & Default Properties. You will need to do these changes by accessing Equipment Browser & alter the entries there.

This subject seems to mirror similar requirements to upload attributes or patching information to devices that already exist. See the recent thread: Excel Import: Detailed word document or Ppt . In my opinion this (inability to retrospectively upload additional data) is something that is an important part of any tools core functionality. This user clearly has thousands of entries that need to be amended and is being asked to access the Equipment Browser and make the amendments manually - increasing the potential for typo errors. Would it be reasonable for this, and related data manipulation issues to be assessed as a potential feature request?
