How do we move assets from a rack, floor plan, etc., over to a store room?
I cannot drag them into my store room that we created.
Thank You

So the way we do it is that you "cut" the asset from the rack. It appears in the clipboard tab in the Navigation section. Then, open the store room you created and drag it from the clipboard to the room.

An other way is to use the navigation pane. You can move a server from the store room in the navigation pane to any room in the the main pane. I would say the reverse operation also works.

Hi Sean,
There are several ways to do this. In addition to the ways mentioned by François and Craig, i.e. using cut or dragging within the navigation pane, you can also open rooms side-by-side. This can be done by dragging the tab of an open room off to the side of the main area.
This allows you to easily drag and drop between any two rooms. You can also right click on the tab of a room and select "Detached" to open the room in a new window.
Regards,
Torben

Will Store room appear in Reports Filter section so that we can create a report for all equipment in Store Room like we do inventory report for other server rooms?
