HP OneView Integration User Type

Our customer prefers not to use an administrator user of the HP OneView for the integration with DCO. Would a user with less rights work?

The integration guide specifies an administrator user (https://sxwhelpcenter.ecostruxureit.com/display/public/UADCO8x/HP+OneView+integration), but the DCO basically only polls/reads information from the HP OneView, so probably a user with less right would work.

Any insights?

Hi Nikolaos,

I think it was basically designed that the integration/integrated user should be able to get data from the HP OneView. Using a user with less rights might break the integration, but I don't think that's been tested.
