Hi Team,
Kindly any comments on a sensor that can integrate with DCE and DCO and monitor a legacy Gensent with no remote monitoring. The sensor can monitor the output power paramenters of the Genset or even more.
Regards,
Felix

Hi Felix,
There needs to be some way to monitor the genset to put it in DCE and subsequently DCO. If it does not have SNMP or Modbus outputs, you can always monitor it with dry contact outputs. If the genset does not have these options, perhaps you can monitor it's output. Dry contact monitoring would require something like a NetBotz appliance and the NetBotz would in turn be seen by DCO and not specifically the generator. If yo uwereto monitor the output using a power meter or amp meter, again you would not model the generator in DCO but the meter.
If anyone else has any ideas, feel free to add comments. Felix, if you have any more info on the generator, feel free to add as well.

Hi Steve, I shall investigate whether there is dry contact monitoring. It's an FG Wilson Genset with model number XP135 / P135. Thank you. Regards, Felix.
