Failed to restore a backup file to DCE 7.2.1

I am tried to restore a backup file by windows share to DCE 7.2.1 but no file showing on the table.

Hi Ahmad,

You can only restore a backup to the same server version. If the backups contained in the share are older than v7.2.1 or newer than v7.2.1, it will not be shown as a backup you can use to restore your DCE server with. 

Did you check the location of the share and see what backup versions exist?

Hi Ahmad, Is this a DCE VM or a physical DCE you are using? Was the backup created on a DCE VM or physical DCE? Was this backup created on a different DCE other than the one you are importing it into? Is this windows backup on a remote machine or your local machine? Was this backup ever moved from the original location? Did you try and move the backup from the backup location to a share on your laptop? Regards, Breda
