Dear Floro,
Yes, SUMX 6.5.6 is the latest firmware version for Smart UPS series NMC2 cards.
It is always recommended to keep the NMC firmwares up to date as any issues found in older firmware versions are addressed in the latest release. You can click on below link to know the SUMX 6.5.6 release notes for details.

I hope I have answered your queries.

Bala

Hello Bala,
thanks for your inputs. My worried is if just incase I will replace the NMC for specific UPS or replace the UPS itself only. and I believe this will align also to the firmware will release by APC.
Regards,
Floro

Dear floro masangkay,
Please, note that this is update firmware only for NMC's (it's inserted to Smart slot of your UPS's).
Each UPS model has its own built-in UPS firmware, which can only be updated by Schneider Electric service personnel.
It is important to know and remember.
With respect.

Thanks for the information. Yes it is for NMC firmware update only. And it's clear also that NMC some depends on the smart UPS if the NMC is compatible to the unit.
Thanks again for the input.

Hi Floro,
Just to add on what Bala and Spezialist have mentioned, the DCE will only show the NMC firmware updates applicable to your managed devices. This eliminates the possibility of loading an incorrect NMC firmware to the monitored devices.
The screenshot means that only 2 of the managed devices has an available NMC firmware update that you can apply/available.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Justine Chester
