Hi team,
I want to update existing devices with some new customer property fields. It all works fine except that it always creates a new device ...... I dont want to upload a device. I just want to update it.
excel example:
in case of the rack with the same name (ZRH14-4-4) is there nothing gets uploaded.
In case of the rack is not there a new rack gets uploaded and the CP fields are included
Is this a bug in the latest DCO 8.2.12?
Thank you in advance
Br Lukas

Hi Lukas,
That's not a bug, equipment importer (or the so-called excel importer) is basically for importing equipment (for first time). It cannot update data for the existing equipment, it will overwrite!
I think the more suitable "tool" for your device updates could be an ETL integration.
Kind regards
