The problem is regarding access to the PDU Raritan from DCE via the integrated proxy to DCE.
Background of the network architecture :
The network architecture of the customer is :
- Network card nۡ1: Connected to the internal network
- Network card nۢ2: Connected to the network PDU in order to isolate them.
Therefore, this architecture means that to access the management web interface of PDU from the customer internal network, it's necessary to go through the integrated Data Center Expert proxy.
The issue :
It is impossible to access the PDU Raritan PX-2 via the integrated Proxy Data Center Expert.
This issue is present either with the application client or with the web client DCE.
Error with the Raritan PX-2 PDU : "Unsupported Browser" : Your Browser is not supported by this web site. Please us one of the supported web browsers : Firefox 3.0 (or Higher) and Internet Explorer 7.0 (or Higher)
Is this a known issue ? Is there a solution ?
thanks

You can use an external browser instead of the the one integrated into the DCE client. In your DCE client, go to file–>client preferences–>browser settings and configure it to use an external browser and uncheck "use internal browser when launching to devices"
Also which version of DCE are you using? 7.2.7 is the current version

Hi Andrew, I don't think this solution fixe this issue because I have the same problem with web client of DCE 7.2.7. I use Chrome browser and when I connect directly to the pdu with Chrome, it works but when I use the same browser with the proxy DCE (Web client), it don't work. I think this problem come from the DCE integrated proxy.

it very well could be if you the raritan pdu uses javascripting. Unfortunately its been that way for quite a few years now and i believe it is working as designed. Using the external browser setting was the only work around I can think of. You may need to put these devices on the your own network, instead of using the DCE private lan.
