Hi,

you might want to include the DDF file from https://ddf.ecostruxureit.com/. Search for Eltek and you will get the files available for download as follows:

Also, do check if the SNMP read community string for the Eltek is set for DCE. If there's access control for SNMP, be sure to allow DCE in the allowed list.

it's also recommended to upgrade the DCE to the latest version 7.8.0.

BR,

TJ.

Hi Shoaib Maqsood,

Have you checked the SNMP read community string of the Eltek controller? DCE default SNMP read community string is "public". You may request Eltek engineer to check the SNMP settings inside the controller for you.

You can test the SNMP walk from the controller using free SNMP read tools such as MIB Browser. (for DCE version 7.6 and above, SNMP walk tool is available in the DCE webpage).

Dear Shoaib Maqsood,

In this case, I highly recommend that you remove the above DDF-file eltek_smartpack2.xml v.1 and sequentially (one at a time) try the following DDF-files:

Hope this helps you.

With respect.

Dear Shoaib Maqsood,

It seems to me that a similar topic Eltek Smartpack2 DDF can help you a lot. Please read Ara Orujyan answer on this:

...I tied to configure SNMP v3, and it works.

I don't know why this device have such specific configuration in part of SNMP V1 & V2, but with SNMP v3 it works perfect.

With respect.

Dear Shoaib Maqsood,

Can you show a screenshot of SNMP Settings -> USM users from Eltek Smartpack2 controller?

In addition, can you show a screenshot of the snmpwalk utility running under the SNMP v3 protocol on your Eltek Smartpack2 controller?

With respect.

Dear Shoaib Maqsood,

As follows from Ara Orujyan clear answer from post Eltek Smartpack2 DDF:

In my case, mentioned problem was solved when I have changed to SNMP v3.

SmartPack 2 with SNMPv3 works properly. Just create the user for SNMP v3  with administrator rights, it will be enough.

and

I tied to configure SNMP v3, and it works.

I don't know why this device have such specific configuration in part of SNMP V1 & V2, but with SNMP v3 it works perfect.

Therefore, you need to use the SNMP v3 protocol to connect the Eltek Smartpack2 controller to DCE software.

With respect.
