I tried EcoStruxure IT Gateway update from 1.6.2.14 to 1.8.1.44 using "Update(or Retry update)" button on EcoStruxure IT Web IF.
When I do that for the IT Gateway connected without proxy, it sucess. (Tried on Windows10 and CentOS8.)
But, when I do that for the IT Gateway connected through proxy, it always failed. (Tried on Windows10 and CentOS8).
Does anybody success the update to 1.8.1.44 using "Update(or Retry update)" button on EcoStruxure IT Web IF through proxy server?
Does this the issue specific to our local network?
# If this happens for the IT Gateway connected through proxy in general, it will be a problem especially for IT Gateway appliance users because they cannot do the update by executing installer as an workaround.
# As far as I know, the update from 1.6.2.14 to 1.7.0.64 worked successfully with the same proxy environment at least for the IT Gateway on CentOS8.

Hello.
When the upgrade is initiated the gateway attempts to download the update file from the ITE cloud platform which is a .exe. Based on your post, is it possible your proxy device is stripping/remove the exe file from the download?

As far I as I confirmed, the latest exe file is already downloaded under "C:\Windows\Temp". So, I think different cause will exist.
Anyway, I will create a ticket separetely.
