Hi community - asking on behalf of customer Lenny P.:
"Setting up the IT Optimize to work with DCO: Does DCO and IT Optimize need to use the same Operating System? Does anything have to be set up in DCE for Optimizer to work?"
Can anyone help Lenny out?
Thanks!

Hi Kristoffer & Lenny
DCO and ITO would not use the same Operation system - they would be running on two separate servers.
The following pages contain detail information about the system requirements and application installation:
DCO system requirements & installation:
http://dcimsupport.apc.com/display/UAOp74/System+Requirements
http://dcimsupport.apc.com/display/UAOp74/Installing+StruxureWare+Data+Center+Operation
ITO system requirements & Installation:
http://dcimsupport.apc.com/display/UAOp74/StruxureWare+Data+Center+IT+Optimize+Server+Requirements
http://dcimsupport.apc.com/display/UAOp74/StruxureWare+Data+Center+Operation%3A+IT+Optimize#Struxure...
Currently the integration between DCO and ITO doesn't require any settings in DCE.
