Distance between panels that need to be monitored in DCE via Gateway exceeds 250m, what could be done here ?

The power panels need to be monitored and they are 250 meter far from the DCE switch, I am using Schneider gateway to convert from Modbus to Modbus TCP/IP ?

What is the solution here..

Hi Piere

I think you could install EGX or Schneider Gateway closer to swtch because limitation on Ethernet cable, but 250 m still  ok for modbus communication (lenght). Other Option, you could change ethernet cable with FO, but it will increase for the cost.
