Dear Team,
Kindly, I have DCE on hardware server which customer reported on not starting up after restarting.
On further troubleshooting we found attached errors which to me looks like the server memory is full.
I am not concerned about loosing the configuration files because customer has few devices monitored and I can always rebuild it.
My only concern is, will I loose the DCE Licenses once I restore it a fresh from existing v7.4.3 to v8.1.0 considering there is operating system change on the two version, if yes what should I do not to loose the Licenses now that DCE can't be accessed on client and showing still starting up on Web.
Thank you.
Regards
Felix

Hello @Angwenyi,
I would recommend connecting with technical support on this. If the server is accessible via SSH they likely can resolve the issue (if it is a true storage issue).
However, if rebuilding is easy due to the number of devices that are discovered, I would recommend deploying the newest DCE version and then contacting technical support to have the licensing redone if there was a MAC address change to the server. Redeploying and reconfiguring likely would be quicker than running through the incremental upgrades.
Kind Regards,
Cory

Hello @Angwenyi,
If it is the same physical DCE Appliance (AP9465/AP9470/AP9475), the same license keys will work as the MAC address will not change. License keys can be retrieved from the Entitlements Portal. If you do not have access to the portal, please contact technical support.
Kind Regards,
Cory
