Data Centre Expert Images

Hi All

Im trying to find some sales documentation of presentations for data centre expert, I'm looking installing the software next month but unfortunately I have a few doubters there and would just like to show some demonstrations or presentations to them in advance.

Hi Christopher

You could do a live demo by accessing isxc.apc.com login with apc/apc.  You can use both web and Java clients.  There are many risks doing a live demo, e.g.

  • the software stops working (maintenance, problem, network?) = they think the software is flakey - you should have a back up plan
  • you are not 100% sure of what to demo or how = they think if you (the guru) cant work the SW, then it must be hard to use - perhaps practice before hand and follow a script
  • they ask for unrealistic features

These are just some of the risks but the benefits of live demo can be great, get the most info in the shortest time with the biggest impact.  See if you can uncover a strong unmet need that can be addressed by DCE and stress the relevant features, explain the benefit to them and their daily work.  If you can turn this benefit into $ saved then even better.

And/or an SE staff member can access SE's  internal sales tools for customer facing presentations

Thank you ED I just had a look at it and with the way the alarms page is setup there won't be any issues as it is neat straight to the point with details that can be viewed at a click. I will have good play with it on Monday to ensure I'm familiar with it.
