Data Center Expert - UPS Part Number
I manage 1000+ UPS through StruxureWare DCE and can't seem to find any way to determine the exact UPS Part/Model number of any of my UPS. Is there a way to do this easily? The only thing that shows up is the generic name like 'Smart-UPS 2200' under 'Model' but there are multiple models (SMT2200, SUA2200RM2U, SMTL2200RM2UC, etc.) that fit under this generic model type.
You are correct that the Descriptive model name is what is entered into the Model field for UPSs. The UPS SKU is not currently reported into DCE, just what is within the UPS Model field on the UPS About page.
I have passed feedback to the DCE product manager on this for consideration with future changes to the software.
Regards,
Cory
