Hello,
Our customer with DCO v7.5 is asking about vulnerability due the recent ransomware attack.
Do we need to do something with this server to ensure it is safe?
Best regards,
Enric Climent

Hi Enric,
In general, the latest version of DCO 8.x (currently 8.1) contains many enhancements and it is much more superior to the previous versions such as 7.5. So it is highly recommended to upgrade the product (7.5) to 8.x.
That being said, the recent ransomware/WannaCry seems to be using a vulnerability in the Windows OS. DCO is linux based and not affected.
Kind regards

Also adding a reference from the DCE Tiger Team stating DCE is also not vulnerable to the WannaCry ransom-ware attack because it is also Linux based.
DCE users may reference k-base FA316002 for the relevant information.
