Hi All,
Is it possible in DCO 8.3.2 to give a user an access to certain Racks only not whole room ? or the access level is only subject to the room level ?
based on this topic " https://community.se.com/t5/EcoStruxure-IT-forum/Rack-level-access-only-to-the-selected-users-in-DCO... "
It is mentioned that it will be available in the next release version, What is the version number of this release?
Thanks,
Ahmed Ashraf

Hello Ahmed
You are correct regarding the user security in DCO and ITA in that it sets access at the room or location level.
However, if your customer is using colo licensing, or upgrades to ITA which would enable co-location licensing for them. Then there is the ability to use tenant portal features in DCO/ITA where a user can be assigned to a specific room, cage, or set of racks.
More information can be found here: https://dcimsupport.ecostruxureit.com/hc/en-us/sections/360005752614-DCO-for-Colo-Tenant-Portal
Tenant portal relies on the web client only, so desktop client access is not allowed in this mode. But the user when logging would only then see the specific assets to which they were granted access.
