DCO error "the existing password is incorrect"

Hi team,

Some of our users have encountered this problem on DCO 8.1.0. We try to reset the password for users. After users login web page using the 6-digit temporary password received, the next window prompts for new password. However, when we click change password, it says the existing password is incorrect even though we are sure it is the correct one.... May I know what problem could it be?

Hi Shijia Zhu,

When the username is entered with tailing or extra space, this issue is seen. We have already captured this bug and updated with our team.

For now the easy workaround is to check and remove any extra spaces that you might have added while entering your username/ email id.

I can't verify it now, but check that you have  the same keyboard layout. Temporary passwords are always use ASCII characters only.
