Blades without family (empty Product family field) located in a blade enclosure also without family ...
... can be moved into a blade enclosure, that has a Product family:
For some reason, this action is not allowed in the web client:
Sorry for the sad story about missing families, but this limitation is impacting a customer who uses the web client for decommissioning blades into enclosures.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change (or clear) the product family on-the-go:

Hi Christian,
Changes has been made to DCO in order to solve above mentioned behaviour and align functionality between desktop and web client. The changes are available in the latest release (8.2.12)
It is now allowed both in web and desktop client to add/move a blade if:
Blade Enclosure has a family, blade must be of same family or no family.
Blade Enclosure has no family, blades of any family or no family is allowed.
Hopefully this explains the new functionality.
Furthermore I believe we have fixed the specific customer case offline.
