Hi team. We have DCO 7.5.0 , DCO mobile (symbol MC70), that not worked in local mode.
Customer (due security reasons) cannot provede wireless access via WIFI do DCO server, so I try to use DCO mobile in cradle or local mode.
When device in cradle, it connects to dco server, shows all devices (that i have configured from PC client), and even allows me to add new devices.
But customer need it for filed working, and when I choose "local mode" (device still in cradle), select to synchronize all rooms and genome library (all steps passes), then disconnect device from cradle and try to add new equipment, fill "name", "barcode", all custom properties (or fill nothing), then select room, rack, rackmount U position and press "OK", device returns to fill "name" and "barcode" dialog (don't write it to local database), just cycling this operation. When i did it in "server mode", when device was in cradle and online, last step returned me to main screen (alarms, asset management and add equioment).
Sometime, when i try to sync it or make same steps with angry, device shows me 'an error was encountered with local database'.
So, my question is: is it possible to work with offline (local) mode and what should I do with my system?
