Hi,
I just upgraded to DCO 8.2.12 and I am using VMware vCenter integration.
I noticed that it shows duplicate, multiple items if I search for virtual machines names.
So when I look for a particular VM the result is 2-3 or more servers which is not possible to run in the same time one VM on multiple Esxi host. Here is screenshot from Discovered Items:
Any thought what can be problem?

Hi Mate,
I could see a similar observation in your database, where the items (virtual host) with same name and external id are stored many times. I will register a bug report, however apart being annoying in user interface I was wondering if it (host names) is being used for something (in the setup)?
Kind regards

Hi Jef,
Your question:
"I was wondering if it (host names) is being used for something (in the setup)?"
If you refers to virtual machine names under host names, than my answer is no, that is not being used in our configuration. We just would like to use the feature of vCenter integration which is able show to virtual machine physical location.
It is not just annoying because when I search for a VM host name the result is multiple physical blade. Obviously the same virtual machine cannot run on different physical blade so it is causing confusion.
Regards,
Mate
