DCO 8.01 and APC AP 8866 Rack PDU

I am trying to configure my racks and have added 2 Rack PDU's from DCE and that went fine but shouldnt I see data when I look at the operations screen?

Hi Jeffrey,

As I understand this is a fresh association/setup, and you may expect about 1 day to see the measurements in DCO. This delay time (at least 8-10 hts) for collecting data, is only for the first time device association. In general, this catch-up period ("delay time") starts when a DCE configuration is created on DCO, and it is a "gentle" catch up in order not to stress the DCE and that is why it takes so long.

And then in it should be possible to see the "Average and Peak" power values (ex. right click on rack-pdu > Properties > External Systems > Device)

Kind regards

Are average and peak the only values I can see? Can I not highlight or drill down to get Voltage and Amperage?

Hi Jeffrey, You should be able to see both Watts and Amps readings, but please notice that DCO is not the monitoring unit and for the real time power readings you would need to look at your DCE. In DCO usually we can see the avg. and peak values that are based on a 30 days period (default): Configuring StruxureWare Data Center Expert integration Here is an example from my rack-pdu, just to illustrate what one might expect to see: Kind regards

Thanks again Jef. I am gwtting those values but I am looking for a lot more info on the DCO graphic. I obviously misunderstood what the product is. I am new to DCO but I have worked in many data centers with Schneider BMS. Those systems tend to have live data on a DCO type interface and by the looks of DCO it provides minimal information. My last question would be does Schneider provide a DIY solution similar to what I am asking. I want to monitor CRACs, UPS, PDU and Whatever else on a DCO type map with DCE type readings?
