DCEs on separate networks

Hi Team.
At the moment I have 2 DCE servers. They are each on two different cities.
I am able to access both of them with DCE client on my computer.
The problems I'm experiencing at the moment are:
1. Backing up to my computer from DCE client.
2. Adding DCE from the other city (example IP 11.11.11.11) to my DCO in Discovered Devices.
For example I am in a city where one DCO and DCE are connected to the same network.
11.11.12.51 (DCE server A) and 11.11.12.52 (DCO). If I connect my computer to the network, I have 11.11.12.53.
Then there's another DCE connected to another network and city and it has IP 11.11.11.11 (DCE Server B).
I'm able to get backups from 11.11.12.51 to my computer, and even be able to add it in Discovered Devices on DCO.
But it won't work on DCE Server B.
Have in mind that when I was in the same network as DCE Server B, (my computer had IP 11.11.11.12), I was able to get the backups.

I've already went to the DCE Server B and changed "Server Hostname or IP" to my current IP 11.11.12.53. But I'm unable to get any backup.
By the way. DCE Server B is running on version 7.2.0 and DCE Server A is running on version 7.4.1.
DCO is running on 7.5.0. I wanted to do backup on DCE Server B in order to safely upgrade it to verison 7.4.1

Best Regards

Is there a firewall or network switch which might be blocking the file since you are on two different networks?

Hi John.

I've recently got the information that the network all these servers are on, doesn't have any firewall. So the problem doesn't seem to be the firewall. I have another server that are getting information about doors in other cities, with the same local network, and they work perfectly fine. The IT-technician that are responsible for the network said that there is no problem with the net. And I'm able to confirm that the network is working pretty decent, since I'm able to connect to the server in the other city, but not be able to take a backup from here. The IT-technician said that it might be some properties in DCE and DCO that are limited to broadcast only for their local network. Is there a way to change it in the DCE and DCO Client?

¨

Also, recently I got this message when I pressed Encryption. If this might be the problem, how am I supposed to get the server certificate and import it to DCE?

Best regards

Thanh Ly
