Good Day,
i have never done this type of connection so please excuse me if i sound stupid, how can i connect a power logic PM700 to DCE? Can i use an RS485 to Ethernet converter? or is there a better or simpler way?

Hi Terrence,
I believe your first instinct is correct. Assuming the meter only has 232 or 485 and no Modbus over tcp, you’ll need a Modbus serial to ip gateway. I believe the current one we suggest is the EGX150. You’ll then also need to hit the DDF link on the top of the page and request the proper DDF.
