A Banking customer needs to deploy DCE & DCO over SQL Server (As I understand the data base in DCO & DCE is postgres). Some questions about it:
1. As i understand there is a ETL to extract data from DCO to my own database, e.g., Microsoft SQL Server. Question: ¿Do you have a procedure and best practices about it? ¿Is there any success story about it?
2. In case customer don´t want to go on with ETL option, is there any alternative to deploy DCE & DCO over SQL server ?
That´s the case customer is so comfortable with Power monitoring expert based on SQL and they want the same for DCE & DCO.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Victor,
DCO/ITA cannot be deployed on other systems/databases. However it is possible, both in DCO and ITA, to integrate with external systems through the ETL integration. Based on the ETL system it is possible to develop custom solutions integrating DCO/ITA with a broad range of data sources such as MS SQL. More info available here:
https://helpcenter.ecostruxureit.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007339757-ETL-Extract-Transform-Load
ETL development/integration can be complex and may require advanced engineering knowledge. There is a dedicated team (CSP team) that have a great experience with custom integrations, which you can turn to. If needed you can contact the CSP team for project details, price, etc. Please let me know if you would like to contact the CSP team (I can send you the contact info), thanks.
Kind regards,
Jef

Hi @SESA380953 ,
I don’t know with 100% certainty about DCO but I do not believe that is an option. I will defer to anyone with more info.
As for DCE, there is no option to change the database or directly access the Postgres database. The only option is to use the API if you need direct information from the system.
thanks,
Steve.
