Is it possible to create, then share (or publish) dashboards for other users (or as a default dashboard for new users)?
Racking my brain here, but I cannot find any good documentation on management of DCE Web client.
I just want a standard dashboard for all users at logon, and a few different dashboards we can use on Wallboard displays in our NOC.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Chris,
The DCE client dashboards are tied to the specific user. If you log in as user A on your computer and then as user A on another, you can see user A's dashboards. If you log in as user B however, you can not see user A's dashboards. This is by design as different users have access to different devices but that access was not trickling down to the sensors. I guess it was easier to do this than it would be to verify the user has access to the data in a specific graph or other gadget.

Thanks for your quick response. While i understand the reasoning behind this, I am disappointed that this function is lacking. As an administrator, I can control user access levels in DCE; so logically, i assumed I would be able to build basic views based on that access.

Hi Chris, I know they're looking into this for future releases but I have no info as to when that may be. Steve

This would be a nice feature to get, since I haven't had much luck getting the Portal to work the way I want and generally the DCE dashboard has better graphs for sensors.
